Blood Mountain is AMAZING! I love that disk. They're playing ATL in March.
The new Clutch, From Beale Street To Oblivion comes out in March also. What I've heard is great.
Tres Hombres is one of the greatest albums ever. Good call on the Top.

They are coming to the orange peel in february, yeah mastodon at the orange peel.
Hmmmmmmmmmm? I hadn't seen that one. I just might be at that one. I saw them at Stella Blues a couple of times in Ashvle. Hung out with them all. Good guys. Very funny as well.

Thats the word from some pretty good sources. I was shocked to hear at the Orange Peel, I thought Stella when I heard Asheville. But thats the word, Colony of Birchmen is one of the best songs I have ever heard, they played it well on Conan as well.
As a whole, there isnt much new stuff coming out that has caught my ear. A few hear and there tracks, but the scene overall does not seem to be growing as much, I personally feel.
I'm partial to Birchmen, Sleeping Giant, Capillarian Crest. My favorite song of their's is a cover of Thin Lizzy's The Emerald. That's an amazing song. If you don't have it, I could email it to you. It's hard to find.
Nope. Everything is dead. Blood Mountain was the last good album released and that was almost a full year ago.
